Sora listened intently to the teacher, taking mental notes as he talked. Nikki sat in her lap, and Lecty was curled up next to her desk. She sat cross-legged with her hands in her lap, and glanced around the classroom.

Skyler sat back in her chair, her legs propped up on the desk lazily. Passion sat politely next to her, head held high and tails contained.

Sky looked up at the teacher, giving him a slight shake of her head. "Sorry Mr. Teacher sir, I'm afraid I don't know." she stated in a mocking voice.

Sora blushed lightly when she felt Nex's hand reaching for hers, and accepted it gratefully. She cast him a quick glance out of the corner of her eye, then averted her eyes back to the teacher.

Yuki entered the classroom slowly, she was a mess, her clothes were winkled and dirty with mud, her hair was sticking in every direction, her glasses looked to be held by a piece of duck tape and if you looked close enough you could see behind her bangs her eyes were red and puffy from crying.

She slowly made her way to her desk at the back of the room, but because of the lose hold she had on her books she ending up dropping them everywhere.

Sora blushed again, squeezing Nexon's hand. She heard a loud thump as someone's books fell to the floor. Sora stood quickly, and moved to the back of the room.

"Hey, you okay?" she asked the girl, helping pick up the books.

Skyler barely glanced at the girl who had just entered, instead patted Passion's head lightly.

Sora's eyes narrowed as she studied Yuki, noting the bags under her eyes and the puffiness around them.

"Yuki.." she repeated, "What's wrong?" she asked.

Yuki just nodded her head at the question, putting her papers in a pile. She rose a hand to her neck to where her neclace always rested. "I guess I forgot to put it on this morning.." She says softly her voice creaking and rough sounding. Yuki had been out calling for her friends so long she was on the verge of losing her voice.

Sora frowned at the girl, "Lies." she said softly under her breath. She could tell something was seriously wrong, Yuki had been crying.

Skyler tilted her head in thought, wondering about the girl.

Yuki made her way back to the farthest deck in the classroom and sat down taking her books from the kind pokemon. "Thank you..She says softly placing a hand on its head before watching it go back to the front.

Yuki barely paid attention to the teacher but more on the piles of papers in front of her. Slowly she was drawing her Pokemon Gemini, Loki, Lulu, and Casper.

She worked carefully making sure to pay attention to the small details, Gemini's small size Loki and Lulu's scars and the chipped spine on Casper's head.

And over each picture in big bold letters she putMISSING

Gaffey rushed to class Kuzumi at his side "Come on keep up kuzu!!" he said as he skidded to a halt down a hallway and turned to rush towards the classroom doors "why am i always late?!?!" he than busted through the classroom door faceplanting on the other side.

Kuzu walked into the classroom panting heavily she than started to poke Gaffey "Gaff Gaff? Helloooooooooooooooo?"

Gaffey rushes up and dusts himself off "i'm okay!!!"

Sora smiled at Gaffey, then walked carefully back to her seat. She wondered about the girl, and why the two new kids were late. But she sat quietly, listening intently to the teacher.

Sky sat up quickly when she saw Gaffey enter the room, red rushing to her cheeks. She looked away and down at her desk, her hands folded neatly in her lap.

Yuki looked up hearing the racket from the front of the room but soon went back to the posters after seeing it was just some new students. She was worried about them, and who they were with...Someone who steals others Pokemon couldn't be very kind.

Gaffey's face turned red as he was picked up by the teachers Zangoose "i'm fine just a little fall, i can sit myself" he said struggling in the Zangooses grip "Now could you let me go?!"

Sora nodded, "I know the boy. His name is Gaffey. I don't know the girl though." she replied under her breath, casting glances at the girl.

Skyler frowned when she saw the girl Gaffey was with. She'd never seen her before, and felt something rise in her. Jealousy?

Yuki couldn't take it anymore, she shouldn't be sitting here in class while her Pokemon could be in danger or badly hurt. Quickly she started gathering up her things not realizing she had left a few of her posters behind.

She made her way towards the door stopping once only to speck to the teacher. "I have to go.." She says, right before she runs out the door and down the hall an angry fire burning in her eyes.

Gaffey smiled brightly and hugged Kuzu close "This is Kuzu or Kuzumi!"

Kuzumi looked at the ground shyly and than back at the teacher"Yea...i'm Kuzumi and this is my-"

Gaffey jumped up into the air "I'm Gaffey as sora said! so when is class starting!!??!" he yelled loudly interrupting Kuzumi "has it already started? i would guess it has since were late!"

Sora blushed again as Nex took her hand, laughing quietly at his comment, "I bet you could beat him." she muttered back.

Skyler went back to not listening to the professor. Music was still playing in her headphones, and she could hear it even if they weren't around her ears. She bobbed her head to the beat, doodling something on her paper.

Gaffey and kuzu went and sat in the chairs assigned for them and focused there gaze on the teacher both of them smiling brightly.

Gaffey studied the classroom to see all that was in it "There is a guy i don't know, Sora, and Sky!" he than waved to Sky and mouthed hello he than pointed to Sky and whispered to Kuzu "thats my girlfriend" Kuzu looked over to Sky and waved to her.

Sora blushed at the kiss, glancing around the room to see who had seen. It seemed no one had. She raised her hand, "Um, professor?" she asked quietly. "I have a question..."

Skyler glanced at Gaffey, and mouthed hello back. She saw the girl wave, and wondered what Gaffey had told her. But instead of being rude, she waved back.

Standing, she stride gracefully over to the two, "Hey Gaff" she said with a grin as she bent down and kissed his cheek, "And who might this be?" she asked curiously, looking at the little girl with a smile on her face.

Sora shrunk back in her chair when the teacher approached her. She hadn't realized how tall he was until she could actually see him, and his height terrified her. She was grateful when he sat down, though he still towered over her tiny, 4'3 stature.

"um," she squeaked. She was suddenly unable to remember her question, "I-I'm sorry Mr. Ker...I-I forgot.." she looked up at him apologetically, with a hint (okay, more than a hint) of fear in her eyes.

Skyler laughed at Nexon's sulking, patting him on the back as he passed her, "Hey, sorry Nex." she snickered.

"It's nice to meet you Kuzumi." Skyler said to the girl, turning back and giving her a smile, "I'm Skyler."
