Terri's search for a teacher

Terri walked into the gym, not sure what to expect. "hello?" he called out seeing the gym empty from where he stood at the door.

Skyler peeked around the mats that she was sitting behind when she heard footsteps. Removing the left speaker from her ear, she watched the boy call out. He couldn't see her, as she was sitting behind one of the obstacles set up.

Her Ninetales laid next to her, her head resting on Sky's lap and Sky's hand was resting on Passion's head. "It's okay girl, it's just some boy." she whispered condescendingly to Passion. Two pokeballs hung in Sky's pockets, and she smirked a bit after moving her head back behind the mats.

Terri stepped in further calling out again "hello? is there any teachers in here?" a obvious face of confusion grown. "where are they... i haven't seen one sense i arrived here..."

Skyler stifled another laugh, Wow this guy's not very smart, it's clear there're no teachers here. she snickered mentally. She kept her breath silent though, wanting to see how long it would take for the kid to figure out she was there. Passion started to growl, but Skyler covered her mouth quickly. "sh"

"huh...? who's there?" Terri had heard the growling, heading towards the source.

[Butterfly]

Skyler sighed, tsking at Passion, who stood, stretched, and strutted out of hiding.

"Ninetales?" she cawed, licking her paw.

"a Ninetails... well... at least i know someone is, or has been here recently." Terri stated, slowly approaching the Pokemon.

[Butterfly]

"Nine-Ninetales!" crowed Passion, sticking her tongue out at the boy and turning away.

Skyler stifled another laugh.

"well... i guess it know where it's owner is... i should try somewhere else... maybe an office?" Terri turned and started to walk towards the exit

Celeste unlocked the back door of the gym, holding a finger to her lips and gently guiding her pokemon inside.

Belle let out a quiet cry, her voice mournful and similar to the cries of grief a woman would give at the grave of her child, and nothing at all like the calls of the other pokemon on Rensei. Maybe it was because she was from Sinnoh, but none of her pokemon's cries were their names. Celeste glared at her, and the experienced pokemon fell silent as she allowed her trainer to lead her inside.

Pokemon over the level of 35 were not allowed inside school buildings, but the young teacher could not allow for her companions to stay cooped up in her office all day. They were bred to battle, and battle they would.

She didn't notice the two students as she ushered in her Champion-worthy pokemon, gently whacking Belle over the head as she started to whine again. She turned and locked the doors, striding across the gym and closing the main doors as well.

"Alright, Endella," she said to the rock in her hand, "No foul play, or you don't get to go into the caves tonight, got it?"

She set the rock down at one end of the marked arena as Belle took her place at the other.

"No foul play," she repeated, looking to the Froslass. "I mean it. You two have to alternate, okay?"

The rock shuddered, and a purple-green spirit emerged, glaring at her opponent with obvious distaste.

"Have at it," Celeste said, standing back.

[Butterfly]

Skyler peeked out over the top of the mat to watch the teacher battle. It wasn't a teacher she recognized, and she wasn't completely positive that she was actually allowed in the gym, so she stayed silent. Passion returned to her, standing on her back paws to watch the battle as well.

Terri wasn't entirely sure who had brought in the new Pokemon or how she had missed him right next to the main exit as she locked it, but he was sure that this could very well be a teacher.

Endella let out a chilling cry, her voice echoing with the many tortured souls that inhabited her body. The arena was doused in darkness, and when it cleared, Belle was shaking her head, absorbing the shock of the Dark Pulse.

Retaliating, she slammed her hands together and shot an Aurora at Endella, freezing the Spiritomb for a moment before the ice cracked.

"C'mon," Celeste muttered, hoping for a raised level in this battle.

Terri walked towards the teacher, being sure to avoid the battle.

"Oh my." Skyler muttered, "Those are some strong pokemon." Passion nodded her head in agreement as Sky scratched her head.

(hold on you broke that order, it was me then butterfly, then you came in after i posted, breaking the original order unlike what it should have been with in the official post of how the orders should work.)

Belle let out a mourning cry before dousing the arena in snow, sending a Blizzard at Endella. Endella shook off the snow, letting it fall through her body. She shot a Shadow Ball at Belle, who countered it with the same move. They collided in midair, sending a shower of dark material raining over the arena. When the smoke had cleared, Belle had fallen, and Celeste took the snow ghost back into her pokeball. She beckoned to the snake-like sea creature by her side, and Mila slithered out onto the arena, cloaking herself in a sheet of water called Aqua Ring.

Terri stood there, watching the match unsure how to move to the teacher with out getting caught in the middle of the fight.

[Butterfly]

"Wow!" Skyler exclaimed quietly to Passion, "That strange one is strong!"

[Celeste Valacari]

"Alright Mila, use Water Pump!" Celeste commanded. The beautiful pokemon spun and launched a heavy stream of water at Endella, dousing the Spiritomb. Weakly, Endella launched a move at Mila, causing the serpent to fall to the ground asleep.

"Endella, use Nightmare," Celeste instructed quietly. The Forbidden Pokemon launched a wave of dark matter at the sleeping Milotic, locking her in a repeating nightmare.

Terri watched the match, tapping his foot quietly waiting for his chance to get past the battle.

Skyler stood quickly, gesturing for Passion to move. The two walked straight through the middle of the battle, ignoring the teacher and the boy.
