Pokemon Restrictions

These Pokemon are called Legendary Pokemon. In canon, there are usually only one (or a small herd of some) of each of these in all of Japan. These also usually are spirits of elements or the like, making them over-powerful and therefore unsuited to the school environment. For example, Arceus is the Pokemon God. No person could catch it without blowing up the planet, eh?

Any Pokemon that, in the games, is met in a fateful encounter, is considered Legendary. Any others have been discussed among the staff and deemed too rare and/or over powerful for the school setting.
