Skyler laughed again, the sound ringing through the cave like a peal of bells. "Didn't it?" she said softly, laying down and propping her head up on her hands.

The sun set and the moon rose, bringing with it twinkling stars.

He looked up into the stars smile still on his face "Today wasn't all that bad...." he than sighed "it's really beautiful out tonight isn't it?"

"So it is." Skyler said with a smile, looking up at the night sky, "Sorry you got hurt though"

"It's fine...not like it was your fault......" Gaffey than closed his eyes and slpet letting sleep over come him (is this a good time to time skip?)

Skyler fell asleep on her stomach, her head resting on her crossed arms.

(A few weeks later, Gaffey is all better and they're back at the Academy, but far-ish away)

Skyler glanced at Gaffey, twirling her thumbs in her lap. The sun shone brightly, and Sky shied away from it. She hid under a willow tree, glaring up at the sky.

Gaffey moved over to sky and wrapped his arm around her kissing her cheek "hi sky" he said smiling as he pulled her close against himself.

"Hi Gaffey." Skyler smiled, turning her head to face him. "How's it going?" she asked, kissing him lightly on the lips. She let him pull her closer, laying her head on his shoulder.

"it's going great...never felt better!" he said before planting a kiss on sky's lips "how have you been after that adventure we had in the forest?"

"I've been great! I don't know why you're asking me though, you're the one who got hurt." she laughed, kissing Gaffey back.

"you never know.." he said as he wrapped both his arms around sky's waits looking her in the eyes "i hope you know that i love you alot" he said smileing before pulling sky into a kiss holding it for a long period of time.

Sky blushed at this, but was unable to respond as she was caught up in the kiss.

She re positioned herself so the she was sitting in front of him, and she gently parted his lips with her own. Tangling one hand in his hair, she said through the kiss "I love you too."
